John took me under his wing coming out of high school. He had me riding along with his technicians so I can learn from them. After my first 3 months, I learned to install water heaters and fix spot repairs on water pipe leaks. For my last 3-4 months, John would send me to my own calls when he knew I was able to diagnose and resolve the issue.

As a service technician, I would dispatch myself to any call and inform the client my ETA. I would diagnose any plumbing issues the customer would have, then I would explain to the client while giving them options on repairs to replacing the issue. I would write my own estimates that would later be checked by my supervisor.
