Began to lay groundwork for Sustain-a-Bait, a synthetic crustacean bait company, under the guidance of Dr. Chris Kepley, PhD, FAAAAI. Our goal is to eliminate the need for forage fish to attract crustaceans, which equilibrates the oceans ecosystem again.
My role was to order machinery and reagents necessary for product synthesis. Now, my main role is product synthesis and customer acquisition. Furthermore, I am currently involved in building a website for online purchases.
This role requires advanced lab technique for adequate product formation.

Worked alongside Dr. Chris Kepley, PhD, FAAAAI, researching adoptive cell transfer in murine models. We are testing a new strategy for cancer immunotherapy. This method uses a patients own fat cells to grow into new cells, loaded with highly specific antibodies.
Adoptive cell transfer is identified by the use of autologous, peripheral T cells engineered ex vivo to express a transmembrane chimeric antigen receptor composed of the extracellular, antigen-specific single chain antibody and an intracellular T cell signaling domain.
Through this research I have acquired advanced lab techniques such as extended pipette work, familiarity with the autoclave, microcentrifuge, fume hoods, all while maintaining a sterile work environment.
My role has also allowed me to work with breast tissue to acquire the cells necessary for our research.
Furthermore, I have extended experience working with murine models. I have experience injecting, monitoring, and measuring tumors. This was all done ethically, observing all precautions outlined by CITI in their "working with animals" course.
