• Assist MD and PA in preparing for minor procedures and physical exams.
• Perform minor procedures such as stitch and staple removal, application of dressings, splints, casts, etc.
• Administer medications
• Screening incoming phone calls for appropriate referrals to PA or MD.
• Prepare room, equipment and supplies as dictated by a particular examination
• Assist with scheduling admissions, appointments, diagnostic tests, treatments, procedures and surgery.
• Order and maintain clinical office supplies and equipment.
• Maintain patient files, records and other information. Compile statistical data for reports as needed.
• Attend required meetings and participate in committees as requested.
• Receive and prepare patients for examination and treatment.
