Though I've had a few very different jobs I believe I have a lot to put on the table considering how different each job was, and the different skills required to succeed in said jobs. I am someone who is eager to work and eager to pick up more hours if need be, and I am someone who enjoys thorough communication and building connections with whoever I share the workspace with. I hope I am a valuable candidate for this position considering the skills and experience I have accumulated.
I have been dog sitting for two years now for friends, family, and neighbors for two years now, ensuring to follow all instructions provided by the owner, as well as making sure the dog is in a comfortable and safe environment while under my watch, I've watched dogs with ear infections, respiratory infections, neurological conditions, and elderly dogs, all of whom have left my care, happy, healthy, and properly taken care of without their schedule missing a beat.
At Shawsheen I did Project Explore after school where I worked with seventh graders, teaching them the basics of HVAC-R, like small scale control wiring and small scale copper brazing, as well as working an in-shop ice cream machine for the kids to enjoy after they finished their projects. Also, taking the time to have conversations with the kids to grow a connection and discuss their future plans.
At spirit halloween I was employed for the build and breakdown of the store which required heavy lifting in order to build the walls and carry boxes of product. Throughout the halloween season I was doing a good amount of customer service, getting donations with purchases, and most of all ringing customers out.
At WMM I worked with second grade girls, teaching them how to better understand money and how to count, spend responsibly, save, and earn. Over the course of the 6-8 weeks I participated in the program I worked closely with individual students, guiding them in the right directions, and giving positive feedback when the opportunity was presented.
At Market Basket I spent a majority of my time as cashier ringing out customers, counting money, and talking to customers.
