This position offered me with multiple different roles and responsibilities over the time i worked for this family. Most of my duties consisted of looking after and caring for the baby of the family from age 18mos - 3yrs. I stayed home with him 40hrswk and put together activities, crafts, and games. I took him to storytimes at the library, parks, and the little gym once a week! I also helped with his two older siblings (ages 5-8yr) over two summers and any time they were off school. Heres a list of just a few duties i did day to day.

• Got older kids fed breakfast and ready for school
• Prepared food and snacks
• Put down for naps and bedtime if need be
• Provided any medical care needed
• Organized and cleaned home after activities by picking up toys and straightening up play room.
• Built positive and nurturing environments to support child social and emotional growth.
• Put together learning activities for each week (taught letters & numbers)
• Monitored schedules to maintain sleeping, and eating
• Assisted with light housekeeping duties as well as running errands.
• Taught children basic life skills, manners and personal hygiene
• Bathed, dressed, and helped with teeth brushing as part of bedtime preparation if needed.
• Balanced playtime and limited screen time to support development of fine motor, gross motor, and cognitive skills

Working in a pedatric dental office required me to attain fast paced skills and continuing to find new ways to make going to the dentist fun for kids. I loved the enviroment and how it helped me to see many different personalities in children and how to respond to them. I had many duties in such a fast moving office including:

• Cleaning and sterilizing equipment
• CPR training
• Assisting the Doctor in dental procedures for children
• Cleaning children's teeth and explaining procedure to parents
• Office flow
• Answering the phone
• Writing and completing patient notes

• Cleaned and sanitized dental tools and equipment, straightened treatment rooms, and restocked supplies to prep for next patient and maintain health and safety practices.
• Sanitized trays, instruments, and surfaces for clean dental office setting and patient safety.
• Successfully assisted dentist by performing four-handed dentistry and other chair-side duties.
• Sterilized rooms and prepped equipment and instruments for procedures daily.
• Assisted in making the dental procedures fun and inviting for children
