Additional Information

As a coxswain for the women’s rowing team at the University of Minnesota, I dedicated 20 hours per week to practice from August through May, along with travel commitments for competitions. My primary responsibilities included steering the boat, motivating the crew, and implementing practice and race strategies. Above all, I ensured the safety of the crew under all weather and water conditions. In addition to my coxswain duties, I played a pivotal role in founding and leading rowing inclusion committees at both the University of Minnesota and Big Ten Rowing in 2020. These committees were established to foster a safe and inclusive environment within the rowing community, with a focus on ongoing education and support. Through this experience, I developed strong skills in teamwork, leadership, and resilience, demonstrating my ability to perform effectively in challenging situations.
