I started my career at SOMC in 2005 where I worked has a xray tech in the medical imaging department. Within, a few months I got a job in CT where I was a staff technologist for 3 1/2 years. After working in CT I threw accepted a position in the Cardiac Cath Lac where I was trained to job cardiac and vascular procedures. While being in the cath lab I served as the lead tech for approximately 3years. I then had the opportunity to return to cat scan and become the only interventional radiology tech. After 3years of doing that the IR program didn’t really move forward and I returned to the cath lab as a staff technologist, which is the position I currently hold.
