Monitoring inmates for withdrawal from alcohol and/or various substances

Performing routine physicals and seeing inmates in clinic for sick call.

Interacts closely with mental health and corrections staff.

ACLS and telemetry certified RN with charge capability

Responsible for the delivery of safe, efficient and compassionate care to patients

Interacting with physicians, families and multiple modalities within the hospital setting

Responsible for setting up and maintaining sterile fields for procedures

Preps patients using sterile technique and assists physicians during interventional procedures

Responsible for personal care of patients, collection of specimens

assists with skin care and dressing changes, records vital signs

Responsible for stocking the nursing and angiogram area and maintenance of a clean and orderly environment

Performs secretarial duties such as obtaining patient information and scheduling.
