Description: The N&D Group is a mutual insurance carrier based in Dedham, Massachusetts, comprising Eight including regional property and casualty insurance which market personal and commercial insurance product lines through independent insurance agents. The growing complexity of American property and casualty insurance brought new coverage’s, new protocol for storms, and new product enhancements. Some of these enhancements included the first comprehensive insurance packages, the forerunners of today's common Homeowners and Business owners Policies.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing the Business requirements specification through use case documents.

• Possess good knowledge and experience with STLC process

• Performing Sanity, Smoke test, GUI, Functional and Regression Testing

• Prepared Test design for various Commercial and Personal lines

• Preparation of Rating Algorithm based on Business Requirements.

• Worked on Policy Centre and various modules of Rating in Personal and Commercial Lines

• Involved in Test Execution and Defect Reporting

• Raised many critical issues during Production audits

• Following up the defects with the Business Leaders& development team.

• Reviewing the tests done by other team members

• Owned the KA/KT activities at offshore and lead these activities successfully by mentoring the new team members.

• Good at preparing test strategy, test plan, test execution and test summary reports for any complex requirements

• Good knowledge on Oracle SQL Toad

• Performed Failure analysis as part of Prod audit failures

• Worked on RTM as part of Test Coverage and provided estimations as part of QA bandwidth

• Worked on Tier point migration testing as part of QA

• Validated the Policy Installment schedule in Majesco Billing System

• As part of mobile testing, worked on various gadgets using browser stack

• Performed Agency security Testing

• Worked on Claims as part of Homeowners Line of Business

• Knowledge on various Payment methods and Billing Installments of Business
