• This is a temporary position. I pull Cat6 cables from the Ethernet jacks to the IDF closet (Structured Cabling).
• Terminate Ethernet cables, and patch in cables at the patch panel.
• Test the continuity of the cables using a test meter to make sure they are all passing.
• Operated cable-pulling machines to draw wire through conduits between designated points.
• Install and mount access points on the ceiling using lifts.
• Install and activate Ethernet jacks in office spaces or cubicles.

Install and wire up card readers, mag locks, Rex, pie, keypads, BMS devices for overhead doors and pyramids for access control.

• Worked in high-stress environments using ladders, scaffolds and high-lift equipment as well as in confined spaces such as ducts, crawlspaces and vents.
• Achieved proper alarm operation by testing hardware, connections and signals.
