  • Area Asset Protection Manager at Big Lots is currently a multi-store, multi-district, and multi-state position.
  • Conducts store visits and audits to support and evaluate operational compliance, identify policy and procedure violations, assess store compliance in support of company policy, operational compliance, and increased store profitability. This includes but not limited to shrink reduction, asset management, and to evaluate compliance to Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

  • Coordinates all physical security for stores within assigned district; directs training for, and proper utilization of, electronic surveillance equipment and other security devices; provides necessary asset protection consultation and technical assistance to store management.
  • Observes and participates in physical inventory process as appropriate.
  • Develops strategies and programs designed to reduce shortage and accident frequency in both Worker’s Compensation and General Liability.
