• Managing a team of approximately 40 associates who were responsible for restocking inventory, cleaning the store, setting new modulars/planograms, and preparing the store for business the next day. Analyzing data and reports to monitor and improve metrics including financial statements, customer satisfaction and associate performance. Teaching, training and developing associates in their current roles and preparing them to promote.

• Managing loss prevention associates responsible for preventing theft by apprehending shoplifters and implementing deterrence efforts. Handling sensitive and confidential information. Ensuring store health and safety compliance (OSHA, ATF, Ecolab, etc.) Analyzing data and reports to identify and prevent loss from both internal and external factors. Managing claims and receiving processes. Acting as an ambassador for local government agencies such as the police department, fire department and city officials.
