Perform PET/CT oncology, neurology exams and specialty exams such as research brains, PYLARIFY (PSMA Scans), Ga-68 ototate, F18-Axumin scans and Ceriana PET scans for breast cancer. Perform all General Nuclear Medicine Procedures and Nuclear Cardiology Procedures. Perform Mobile PET/CT scans at multiple locations and ensure unit is ready for transport. I am a float technologist where I work at stationary sites and work at multiple sites on the mobile unit. I am very flexible and a fast learner. I am a team player!

Performed PET/CT oncology scans on 3 different mobile units at 10 different facility sites. Maintained PET/CT equipment via quality control testing, trouble-shooting issues and calling for service when needed. Imaging duties accounted for 50-60% of my duties. The other 40-50% of my duties were assisting my Operations Manager by ensuring mobile units were JCHAO and FL DOH Regulatory compliant, training new staff, creating technologist schedule ensuring coverage at 10 total imaging sites, acting as liaison between my Operations Manager and each facility’s Supervisor/Director. Daily quality control of both the scanner and the Rubidium Bracco generator. Performs mobile Cardiac PET/CT Imaging with Rubidium-82. Performs stress tests with Lexiscan. Prepares coach for the beginning of each day and ensures coach is ready for transport at the end of the work day. Maintains the coach in accordance with Florida DOH Regulations. Managed daily operations of Nuclear Medicine & PET/CT Department in an extremely busy and progressive ACR Accredited Center of Excellence Diagnostic out-patient center. Pivotal in efficiently building the department from a 1 technologist operation to a very efficient, productive, and progressive department with 8 technologists. Efficiently developed and implemented my team to perform 16 PET/CT studies per day on 1 scanner and 10-12 General Nuclear Medicine studies (including SPECT, Oncology, Brain) on 1 scanner while maintaining the utmost respect and empathy for our patients and a finished high quality diagnostic study for our radiologists and referring physicians. Responsible for ACR accreditation for both the Nuclear Medicine Scanner and PET/CT Scanner multiple times. Registered and implemented within our department and with referring physicians the NOPR (National Oncologic PET Registry) for both FDG and NaF PET bone scanning, the IDEAS Amyloid Imaging Study (AMYVID & Neuraceq) and various Compass research PET/CT studies. Educated along with our marketing team to our referring physicians new studies (I-123 Datscan, NaF PET bone scan, IDEAS Amyloid Imaging, F-18 Axumin, and NOPR both FDG and NaF). Responsible for all RAM license changes, edits and additions. Became Radiation Safety Officer for both our Villages and Leesburg offices. Managed Nuclear medicine students and their training from Kaiser University.

Performed General Nuclear Medicine procedures in a very busy hospital setting with only 2 cameras and a extremely busy after hours call schedule for emergencies. Efficiently performed 15-20 procedures daily on these 2 cameras. Maintained the department in accordance with Florida DOH Regulations. Safe preparation and usage and storage of radiopharmaceuticals. Responsible for RAM license changes, edits and additions. Worked closely with Nuclear Medicine radiologists in developing and implementing new nuclear medicine procedures. Was on the Meditech team which consisted of building, implementing and training staff with a new Radiology Software. Supervised staff and call staff.
