Hobbies and Interests

I like to spend my freetime with my family. One of my favorite things in life is to sit by the ocean or in the summer spend my freetime at the lake. I enjoy educating myself and learning new things. I enjoy being a nurse and I could not image doing anything else.

Community Service

Superior, WI, I am currently part of a community volunteer program in my hometown of Superior, WI of local nurses called the Nightingale Tribute. We honor former nurses by performing a ceremony at their funeral or memorial service. We do this by lighting a candle, reciting a poem, placing a white rose, and releasing the nurse of his/her duties. It is a very touching and emotional tribute honoring another nurse’s dedication to the nursing.
