Most recently supervised the investigation of the Yogurt Shop Murders from 1991, ultimately assisting to identify the sole suspect in the case.

Maintains the case load for two units, the Cold Case Homicide Unit and Missing Persons Unit, reviewing and assigning appropriately to detectives for follow up.

*Coordinates with many different agencies, local and state to include the Travis Co. District Attorney's office, the Attorney General's office, Texas Rangers and The Department of Public Safety.

*Supervised a patrol shift of 12 officers in East Austin from 2018-2023. Coordinated emergency response call outs with SWAT and Investigative Units while on patrol.

* Prepared and presented press conference information as needed for the CC/MP Unit on multiple different solved cases. Have given interviews as needed for APD in relation to Investigations.

*Most recently supervised the on scene investigation of a mass casualty event as the Special Investigations Sergeant for the 3/1/26 W. 6th street shootings. Worked in conjunction with the FBI, ATF, Texas Rangers and multiple APD Units.
