I have held a variety of positions over the past 25 years. My most loved and long tenured job is "The Wiley Household Manager". It has been my greatest joy to be able to be available at home, serve my family, instruct the Children and follow my God given calling to be a stay home mother. Now that the children are older, I am sensing God moving me into other areas of service. While serving in our home, I have held many volunteer positions with our church such as preschool choir teacher for six years, AWANA leader -8 years, Wednesday night Group leader-2 years, VBS teacher or lead preschool recreation-17 years, and adult choir member. I have taught all of our children to swim, ride a bike, and read. I value physical fitness as a key component of a well rounded healthy life and have constantly encouraged it in the life of our children and others that touch my life. Prior to becoming a full time stay at home mother in 2010 I worked as a nurse in Labor and delivery. I was quickly promoted to charge nurse positions in all nursing roles that I have held. I believe that God has gifted me with strong leadership skills. Before nursing I held multiple jobs which centralized around a common theme, working with Children and youth including some sort of physical activity.
My favorite place to be is outside in God's creation. I love to grow beautiful flowers, and watch the birds and butterflies enjoy them. I am always looking for a way to create a delicious recipe that is healthy for maintaining nutrition. I enjoy being active in many ways like playing games with my family, hiking, creating obstacle courses and running. I was blessed to be able to compete at the collegiate level in cross country while at Carson-Newman. One of the highlights of my running career was being able to compete in the division II National Cross Country meet in 2001.
