
I am a trilingual (Japanese, Spanish, English) International Relations student at Virginia Wesleyan University, with a deep passion for cultural studies and global development. Born and raised in Japan to Colombian and Peruvian parents, I grew up immersed in multiple cultures, which has shaped my ability to view challenges from diverse perspectives and adapt quickly to new environments.
My experiences—founding a student organization to promote Latin American culture, teaching phonics-based English, and supporting the World Affairs Council’s annual World Quest event—have strengthened my skills in cross-cultural communication, leadership, and community engagement, enabling me to contribute effectively in dynamic, multicultural settings.
