Lauren Hamman
Bunker Hill,WV
7
years of professional experience

As an instructor in numerous settings, I have developed the abilities to listen and collaborate with both my students and co-workers. With my previous gymnastics experience (competitive level from 2010-2020), I am able to bring ideas to the table that are efficient. However, I am also able to understand that there is still much to learn. I am empathetic and patient towards my students, acting as a trustworthy role model. As a team member being coached by other authorities, I am able to take constructive criticism, without becoming defensive. I am open-minded to new techniques and strategies. All in all, I feel these skills will aid me well in grad school. Through positive self image, such as the kind I teach to my students, along with self discipline - I believe I will be able to achieve the ultimate goal of becoming an Occupational Therapist. I want my clients to feel the same trust towards me that my current students have.
