• Respond to Level 1 Trauma’s in ER, Code 99’s and RRT’s to assist with any needs.
• Assist staff with Patient complaints by personally talking to patient or family and assist to achieve positive outcome.
• Knowledge base for staff by helping find solutions to any problems that arise.
• Distribute supplies needed after hours.
• Monitor ER Census , bed availability, holds or possible holds and notify administration on call if needed.
• Communicate with other hospitals to be updated on any diversions.
• Collect ON Call sheets for all departments and make sure current.
• Visit each area and speak to charge nurses to check if any needs or issues and assist as needed.
• Help arrange rides for patients to get home.
• Work closely with Bed Control on bed availability and staffing.
• Send census and staffing report to administration as instructed.
• Keep up with and Document Deaths on Death log. Assist Funeral homes with finding correct physician to sign Death Certificate.
• On Weekends responsible for everything happening in hospital, make sure everything is running as should be.
