An active military spouse for 20+ years and a mother of three who's first vocation was early childhood development. This career path was pursued for 10 years, with the last three years working abroad. Educational pursuits have earned degrees in business management and administration with an aspiration to own and operate personally in the future. After completion of a bachelor's degree, that knowledge was applied to owning and operating a cake business for eight years. During time abroad and eight years owning a business, an great admiration and appreciation for history grew. Being abroad presented the opportunity to touch the stones of the past and see the lifestyle that inspired those who came before us. Additionally, skills in recreating historical fashions for personal leisure became a passion. Recently, I discovered the St. Louis Historical Sewing Society and joined to hone these skills with plans to participate in as many events and workshops as possible. Past occupational development, education and passions have made bringing the past to life an incredible and effective way to share how incredible history can be.
