This Pit Stop Diner was owned and operated by my mom. I started working as a cashier/waitress when I was 12 years old. When I turned 14 years old I started cooking. My duties were similar to any other restaurant establishment; dishes, customer service, money management, time management, and multi-tasking. When I was around 19 years old, my mom moved away and I became the manager. The grocery orders, schedules, payroll, and bill payments were added to my responsibilities.
