Melissa Foster

I chose the field of special education because I am passionate about providing students with the individualized support and guidance they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe that all students, regardless of their challenges, can achieve meaningful growth when placed in a structured, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment. My philosophy of education emphasizes high expectations, differentiated instruction, and the development of each student’s strengths, with the goal of fostering independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
