As a nanny, I believe patience is one of the most important skills you can have. I strive to be patient and genuinely understand the feelings and needs of my charges in all situations. Another important skill I obtain is simply being able to have fun, play, and interact as much as possible. In my previous positions as a nanny, some of the responsibilities expected of me included; cooking and preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child, helping to keep a nap/bedtime routine for the child, playing and planning activities/outings, pick up and drop off at school and extracurricular activities, mild cleaning and daily chores such as dishes and laundry, helping with general daily hygiene, and the overall care of child. When it comes to infant and newborn care, some skills I have obtained are; creating a nap schedule and sleep routine, overall care and hygiene of infant, preparing and feeding bottles, reading books and engaging in play with infant.

undefinedI have been in the childcare field for 13 years now and have experience in every age group, starting at 2 months old. Like most nannies, I started out as a babysitter and discovered a passion for providing care love and education for children. Over the 13 years of childcare I have worked as a HAB/respite provider, lead preschool teacher, date night babysitter, New born care provider, and Longterm Nanny. I'm a single mom, I have a beautiful 6 year old daughter who is in 1st grade. We love to do all of the fun things in Phoenix; Phoenix Zoo, hiking, swimming, museums. Outside of being a mom, some things I love to do in my free time include hiking, camping, thrifting, and spending time with friends and family.
