• Operate housing and central control by watching inmate, camera, rovers and opening doors
• Ensure safety of inmates and coworkers
• Complete rounds and headcounts
• Conduct inmate searches as well as block/cell searches
• Serve meals
• Move inmates to different locations
• Ride with EMS if an inmate needs emergency medical attention
• Control uncooperative inmates with physical force as well as mechanical restrains or chemical agents
• Approve answer questions and messages on Cidnet
• Book, fingerprint and take mugshots of new inmates
• Adhere to the policies and procedures of the jail
• Enforce the inmate rules during rounds
• Talk with inmates that may be in distress or having mental health issues

This was my own personal business. I had between 15-30 clients I would go to and clean their house on a weekly, biweekly or monthly rotation. I would do basic house cleaning for clients as well as deep cleans, laundry or just organizing Clients trusted me with house codes as well as house keys to their home to clean.

• Enter 225 consequences on to a computer system
• Control combative/uncooperative youth by placing them in a proper PRT and or applying restraints

• Watch over youth in a secure facility setting (dorm life and on a security unit)
• Keep accurate headcounts and shift logs of a dorm as well as the entire facility
• Run restroom, shower, and shave routines
• Work the gatehouse watching cameras to ensure the unit is safe, radio transmission if security is needed on a dorm, inspect traffic and persons coming onto the facility
• March youth to and from meals
• Ensure the dorms and security until is clean and organized
• Run behavior groups
• Remove combative youth from the dorm and transport to security
• Keep accurate counts of keys and all other tools
• Confront negative behaviors
• Restrain combative or suicidal with physical force or mechanical force or Chemical agents
• Be a positive role model and help youth want to be better
