Additional Information

  • Melody is not my legal name yet, but I am working to make it my legal name in the next year. For this reason, I would like to go by this name among everybody, and to use it for all purposes outside of legal ones for the time being. My legal name is Mari Mumford for when it is absolutely needed.


  • Besides very occasional weekends, I am available to work all points of each day besides Tuesday and Wednesday mornings due to transportation issues. Because of my online schooling, my schedule is very open year-round.


  • I have experience with positions in every part of the day. I can work night shifts, but I would prefer to not primarily work night shifts. I am very flexible and open to negotiating.

  • Northridge "Chamber Lights" Choir, 08/01/22, 09.01/23, Spending time learning music pieces and piecing them together to make an impressive sound. Perform at concerts with the choir including singing solo special act(s). Hours of improvement and hard work on our sound, representing perseverance through the putting together of pieces of music.
  • Boys And Girls Club - Middlebury, Indiana, 08/01/13, 03/01/20, Participated in multiple activities within the after-school program over the 7 years, including "Torch Club", a leadership club, a garden club, and various art clubs. After-school program offered many opportunities at growing my future self and hopes, giving many examples of leadership and perseverance. A nonprofit organization that helped me grow and develop as a child into a leader-worthy young adult.

Awards

  • ISSMA Solo Competition Gold Award, 02/01/22, Awarded a "Gold" rating in a solo performed after weeks of preparation and mastering, close to perfect score. Pieced together my knowledge of a song, as well as remembered it thoroughly and impressively.
  • Lions Peace Poster Contest City Winner, 12/01/19, Won in an art contest to create a poster representing the idea of "peace", this led to the poster advancing in the contest. As a part of Boys & Girls Club, I was given the oppurtunity to try this contest. I composed of a well thought out drawing of what peace meant to me, resulting in an award ceremony where I was elected the city winner of the contest.
