Silver State Hearing & Balance Internship and Externship,  Reno, NV | June 2024-July2025

  • Conducted full comprehensive exams, including; hearing aid fittings, hearing aid evaluations, ordering hearing aids, tinnitus management, cerumen removals, lyric changes, vestibular and balance testing, auditory brain stem response testing, central auditory processing disorder testing, report writing, chart noting, and making referrals to Ear Nose & Throat/ primary care providers.
  • Counseled patients on all audiological results, hearing aid maintenance, warranties, and orientation.
  • Worked closely with all major hearing aid manufactueres including, Starkey, Widex, Signia, Oticon, and Phonak, Resound, and helped troubleshoot, create programs, and made adjustments within the software.

Salem Audiology Clinic Internship, Salem, OR | February 2024- April 2024

  • Performed daily; comprehensive exams, hearing aid fittings, clean and checks, tinnitus testing, tinnitus counseling, report writing, real-ear measurements using the Avant MedRX software, and performed daily Electroacoustics analysis testing (EAAs).
  • Performed some cochlear implant evaluation testing and CI follow-up testing.

Hillsboro Veterans Affairs Clinic Internship, Hillsboro, OR | October 2023- December 2023

  • Performed daily hearing aid evaluations, full diagnostic testing (including puretones, speech and immittance testing), hearing aid clean & checks, hearing aid fittings, and real-ear measurements.
  • Counseled patients on maintenance of current and new hearing aids, as well as warranty and trial period details and worked closely with Oticon and Phonak hearing aids and hearing aid software.

Practicum Student, Pacific University, Oregon School of Audiology | September 2022- Current       

  • Learned to correctly and efficiently administer and perform; Case history, otoscopy, tympanometry, otoacoustic emission, acoustic reflex, speech recognition, word recognition, pure tone air and bone conduction testing, and masking.

Secretary for The Student Academy of Audiology (SAA), Pacific University, Oregon, Hillsboro OR | September 2022- Current

  • Maintained and facilitated club meeting minutes and took note of all membership sign-ups.
