Mercy Elewode

Hi, My name is Mercy Elewode and i am a high school student at Rockwall High School. I am a senior who would love to major in nursing when i enter college. My friends will describe me as quiet but a hardworking. I am the first born daughter to my parents Dele and Toye Elewode. I am trying to portray a good example for my younger siblings because i am the first to go to college amongst them. My mom attended college at U.N.T and my dad attending college in Lagos, Nigeria. I love to organize, and cook. I have been told that i give great advice so i would portray myself as a motivated individual. I am quiet but once others get to know me my personality starts to show. I would like to internship at the children's hospital during the summer of 2024 because i would love to be a pediatric nurse. I love God so much. Without him i would not be the person i am right now. I would have not been alive right now if it wasn't for God.

English is my first language but i also speak yoruba. Yoruba is a Nigerian language. These are my parents first language and they taught it to me at a young age. I love speaking this language. I feel like knowing a second language is very unique and i am very blessed to know Yoruba.
