Call Coach/Customer Service Representative

  • I started out as a customer service representative in December 2020 at Star Group. Star group is an umbrella company in which many oil companies operate under, such as Meenan Oil, Petro Home Services, Leffler Energy, Region Energy and others. I thoroughly enjoy helping customers and resolving any issues or problems they may have, as well as making sure their entire account is taken care of. I answer inbound calls, make outbound calls, take payments, review accounts, schedule service calls, communicate regularly with my dispatchers, get estimated time of arrivals for technicians, schedule deliveries, help resolve delivery disputes and deescalate high stress situations. I always help to educate my customer. I was promoted to a Call Coaching position in May 2021. That position entailed listening to our representatives phone calls and evaluating the calls to ensure that our customer is fully taken care of and has an excellent customer service experience. Another part of Call Coaching was to make sure the representatives are meeting or exceeding my companies standards. As a Call Coach, I was a liaison between the customer and our company. The representatives and I would meet weekly and listen to two calls of theirs after I have previously listened and evaluated the calls. We would then go over strengths heard in the calls and any areas of opportunity that we heard. I would then ask the representative to set goals and ask them what areas of opportunity they are going to challenge themselves to. When I was finished a coaching session, I made sure the representative was feeling both confident and challenged. The opportunity to be a call coach helped me be a more well rounded employee and I learned a lot about myself. I did make the decision after 1 year of call coaching to go back to customer service as I was more passionate about that aspect of the company.

  • I began working at Do Or Dye Hair Salon in January 2018. My responsibilities included proper greeting of clients, scheduling appointments, answering phones and confirming appointments. I also assisting stylists with various duties including staying on time, shampooing clients, organizing products and keeping track of schedules. In addition, I was in charge of receiving and checking in inventory and accurate cash handling to complete payments and sales. Most importantly- delivering excellent customer service at all times!

  • I began employment at Eastern Warehouse distributors in February 2012. I started off as a delivery driver and was promoted to Delivery Dispatch Manager within a year. I managed two departments and forty plus drivers at Eastern Warehouse distributors. My responsibilities included putting runs together appropriately, dispatching my drivers, interviewing potential employees, hiring, all hiring paperwork, scheduling of all drivers, keeping runs on time, training employees, coordinating with our other locations and helping to take care of our fleet. I received the Chairman's award in 2013 in recognition of outstanding performance and dedication to responsibilities. I played an essential role in training my drivers in all aspects of our GPS systems as well as utilizing our DQ system for tracking. I also trained dispatchers in many other locations.
