I have been this families babysitter since I was in 8th grade. Over the past 6 years its been so amazing and emotional to see their family grow. They have 4 girls, all in a 6 year age gap, so you can only imagine the chaos. But behind all that, these girls are loving and are open to learn and try new things. I have been involved in swim, dance, and instrument lessons, we have traveled places, and gone to museums/science centers. Overall, this experience has made me a better person and has prepared me for my future in many ways, I have learned to compromise or create a compromise, learned to care for someone other than just me, and it has increased my decision making skills.

• Talked with parents on establishing routines that encouraged independence and self-discipline in children.
• Kept open communication with parents to discuss progress, challenges, and goals for the children.
• Overall, made sure the boys mental and physical health was good, and gave them a friend/mentor for the summer.

• I had to maintain a clean workplace; Clean and sanitize tables and chairs, and follow health guidelines

• Handled payment processing and receipts; As well as cash transactions, and made sure each shift ended with proper accounting records
