The Language Center (TLC ) is a peer-to-peer tutoring program with the purpose of creating a safe and easily accessible environment for students to seek help in their respective languages. Student coaches volunteer their time and talent to any students who might benefit from their support. Student coaches are nominated based not only on their academic proficiency in their respective languages, but also on some other traits that make them easily approachable.   • Coordinate process of selection of new student coaches with support of existing ones.
  • Train coaches on how to be effective tutors.
  • Arrange collaboration with Learning Support Services as part of training.

  • Write comments to document coaches' trajectory with TLC.
