USF University Conduct Board-Student Board Member-01/2023-05/2024

As a board member of the University Conduct Board, I worked with university staff and other student members to oversee that students who have violated the university’s code of conduct or policies have a fair and impartial trial. The conduct board is responsible for conducting hearings and deciding disciplinary actions. The University Conduct Board plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment for all students promoting academic integrity and upholding the values and standards of the institution. 

Caribbean Cultural Exchange Club (CCE)- Community Service Chair-01/2023- 05/2024

 As an executive board member of CCE, a student-led organization that fosters a sense of community ensuring that everyone feels welcomed and valued. As co-community service chair I organized club outreach programs, charity events, and volunteer opportunities for the local Tampa Bay community. 

Tropic Isles Elementary-Teacher Aide- 01/2020-06/2021

As a teacher aide, I was paired up with the art teacher in my junior year. During my time volunteering at Tropic Isles Elementary, I interacted with 5th graders who learned the essentials of art. I was able to connect and assist students in expressing their creativity.

Key Club-Member-08/2019-06/2021

As a member of Key Club, I have an interest in helping the community of Lee County through community service projects with the North Fort Myers High School’s Key Club. The club works collaboratively with the local Fort Myers-Edison Kiwanis organization to support and assist members of the community. For example, working with the local homeless shelter, cleaning up local beaches and roads, and mentoring elementary school students. Working in this club helps me to be educated about different social and environmental issues affecting our area.
