Mia Baelis

I am a motivated, well-rounded new college student at the University of South Carolina majoring in Sports and Entertainment Management. I possess strong leadership, teamwork, and academic skills and have demonstrated my commitment to service through leadership roles in student government, peer tutoring, and community programs. In addition to excelling in athletics as a varsity soccer captain and basketball player, I have received recognition for outstanding performances. I am passionate about leading and bringing people together through adaptive sports programs and leadership initiatives. Among other events, dedicated multiple hours at a local grocery store, distributing flyers and educating the community about the foundation's mission, and engaged with the public to encourage support and donations for the cause.
• Ronald McDonald House, Westchester, NY, 01/01/23, Present, I assist in providing a welcoming and supportive environment for families of hospitalized children and help with organizing events like Christmas in July.
• Hillcrest Challengers League, Yonkers, NY, 09/01/23, 03/31/25, My high school soccer team and I volunteer each week to teach a group of special needs kids how to play soccer and have fun.
