Throughout my tenure at BHS's student-run publication, held the position of Editor. Collaborating closely with three other students, led a team of 19 individuals in the meticulous creation of the BHS yearbook. In this capacity, I actively engaged in our editorial process, regularly attending school sporting events and conducting interviews with students and staff to uphold our project's schedule. I assumed a leadership role in overseeing fellow students, working closely with my peers to guarantee timeliness and frequently extending my working hours to oversee final edits and meet project deadlines.
As an active participant in the school's FFA intracurricular student organization, I contributed to various competitions that underscored the importance of teamwork. Through FFA, I've had the privilege to partake in diverse volunteer endeavors, providing hands-on experiences. These initiatives encompassed retailing herbs to the Barrington community, facilitating tree planting and native flora restoration efforts in the Barrington vicinity, and delivering professional presentations to environmental industry experts, outlining the group's annual accomplishments.
