ROTC taught me valuable life lessons, as well as furthering my knowledge about our country, and the branches of government. I learned teamwork, support of my fellow cadet. Trust, companionship, health and safety and the importance of them. Communication skills, that lack of communication could bring the whole team down, and someone could be hurt in the process. Healthy respect for chain of command, and to be reliable.
