I am a first generation Mexican American that discovered respiratory therapy as a freshman in college. I found it to be a very rewarding field to pursue as I excelled at Middle Georgia State University, mastering mechanical ventilation and achieving a Dean's list honor. Learning and progressing through my externship has helped me mature as a therapist to enhance patient care clinically. Furthermore, I will continue to learn and build on my educational foundation that i have built collectively.
