I am a young kid who is hard working and I am looking to find a place to start a career. I just graduated high school and I have been working in a wood shop for a year now. I would like to leave my company because there is not a lot of room for growth. I feel that I have learned almost all I can in my department. I think getting into a trade would be a great choice for me because there is always something new to learn.

- I work in the Front Frames department of a cabinet factory
- first I chop the wood down to the rough size
- Then I also mold the wood down to the exact size
- Then I put all the grooves and beads on the cabinets
- Then I also learned how to assemble the cabinet frames
- Then I lip the edge of the frames flush
- Then I sand and inspect the fames and fix any broken frames before sending them out
- I originally only sanded and inspected frames but I was quickly trained on every position in my department
