Communicates hazards to the public, and works closely with EMS, law enforcement, and other rescue teams during emergencies.
Certified Firefighter. Responds to emergency situations including fires, medical incidents, hazardous materials, and rescues. Performs fire suppression, search and rescue, and patient care. Conducts equipment inspections, hydrant testing, and station maintenance. Participates in ongoing training to ensure readiness and compliance with safety standards and maintains a high level of physical fitness.
Over 1700 hours as a US Navy Aircrewman/Helicopter Rescue Swimmer, you are part of a tightly knit group, dedicated to being one of the top emergency response unit in the world. In this role, you put the lives of others before your own, applying intense physical and mental training to challenging real-world situations where there’s often no margin for error. Rescue missions. Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills:
Highest level of tactical qualification achieved as a Navy Aircrew Rescue Swimmer. As a Level 5 Seahawk Weapons and Tactics Instructor- Qualified to train and evaluate both individual Aircrew and entire squadrons in all tactical and utility mission areas including but not limited to Aerial Gunnery, Surface Strike Missions, Combat Search and Rescue, Special Forces/Operations Support, Close Air Support, MEDEVAC/CASEVAC, Helicopter Bambi Bucket firefighting and more. As a Crew chief/hoist operator, I could be lead any one of these mission in real world application.
Main collateral duty: Most recent, qualified as a Helicopter Search and Rescue Instructor which specifically deals with all training, qualification and maintaining currency for individuals in aspects of civilian search and rescue in any environment sea, land, mountainous utilizing all methods including tactical landing, hoisting, rappelling and using various rescue devices.
