  • I managed a case load of approximately 150 designated male inmates, many with short sentence lengths due to the nature of the detention center environment and subsequently faster timelines than normal for completing Case Management vital functions.
  • I conducted initial classifications and routine program reviews to evaluate and reassess program and/or security needs.
  • I determined the appropriate custody and security levels for each inmate assigned to my caseload. I reviewed criminal history, instant offense behavior, history of violence and escape, educational attainment, and level of program participation.
  • I served as the primary point of contact for the U.S. Probation Officer regarding an inmate's adjustment to incarceration, program participation, and release preparedness.
  • I contacted state and local law enforcement officials regarding the release of inmates convicted of sex offenses, violent crimes, and drug charges.
  • I also provided vital information to victims and witnesses of crimes through the Victim and Witness Program (VWP) and the Victim Notification System.
  • Provide resource to new Case Manager’s in FOIA response time frames, tracking, logs and related training.
