Summary

My drive and dedication to a career in public service is based on the knowledge that, especially in cities, access to quality green space has a measurable and lasting impact on quality of life. I genuinely enjoy the challenges inherent to any bureaucracy, in large part because we are often asked to do more with less. In my experience, this is best accomplished by fostering relationships across departments and leveraging available resources from public agencies, nonprofits and private entities. With this approach over the last 5 years I have planned, coordinated the logistics for and supervised the installation of over 1,000 trees on City property.
