I currently have 385 sea days of experience sailing First Assistant on the Matson Kodiak. Learning the ship better each time, I have gotten experience working with contractors during layup period. Running main engine work jobs that include: piston pulls, main bearing inspections, exhaust valve change and overhauls, and many others. As well as managing the crew with training, routine operations, and maintenance procedures.
