- Run a precipitator and make batches of material to run through my filter presses, batches consist of a timed mixture of silicate, steam, water and condensation, and calculated amounts of acid
- Run two of the largest filter presses in the world and troubleshoot any problems that arise
- Control and adjust PHs and salts within the product to get the desired product specs
- Run a larger dryer and dry 90-95 tons of product per day, control moisture in the finished product by adjust the temperature in the dryer
- Ran samples for multiples units to ensure quality product is being made
- Tested moisture of dry product to ensure the correct temperature was being used in the dryers
- Tested the solids of raw slurry tanks and liquefiers to ensure the optimal amount of material was being produced
- Coordinated and brought samples to the quality control lab to ensure all test were accurate
- Entered all data into log sheets as well as discussed with other operators if data was outside of parameters
