Accomplishments

My biggest accomplishment is developing a staff culture through high performance organization skills. I led from the bottom up and give employees the ability to input ideas and progressive thinking.

During the last budget year I was able to have the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors agree to have a contract veterinarian on staff. This is a first for our county and will have enormous effect in staff morale.

While at TCAC I have created a large livestock evacuation rescue team, an animal shelter evacuation team and all Officers have become accredited ACO's through the California Animal Welfare Association.

We have also raised our live release rate to 80 percent, which is difficult for a rural impoverished county
