  • Direct and coordinate construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance specifications.
  • A subject matter specialist and trainer of NEC 70, NFPA 70B and NFPA 70E codes and their application. Co-author of of Company Electrical and LOTO Policy. Evaluate, train and document Qualified Persons per NFPA 70E and Company Electrical Safety Policy.
  • Assist in developing capital project designs and budgets for new equipment and major repairs.
  • Assist to develop options for alternative power generation and usage while working closely with our national utility providers for savings and initiatives. I was the lead in a project which was awarded a Certificate of Recognition by Ohio AEP in which we reduced our carbon footprint by 58% and a savings of KWH usage which amounted to a $19,000.00 a month savings on our electric bill.
  • Vette and coordinate contractors and OEM technicians for building construction and equipment installations.
  • Recommend alterations through development of designs to improve quality of products and/or procedures and report to management, considering costs, available space, time limitations, company planning, and other technical and economic factors.
  • Prepare specifications for purchase or materials and equipment and/or the solicitations of labor. Manage contractors, consultants and other project team members as necessary to execute projects.
  • Oversee project management and technical activities of the Automation Engineers team and offer administrative and technical guidance as needed.
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures for Process Operations, EHS Life Safety and PSM, Hazardous Area Identification and Installation Compliance and Testing.
