Michael Reece

I was a driver and caretaker for a senior who had lost his driver's licence. I drove him during the day, to meals and to his medical appointments, etc. He suffered from dementia, manifesting primarily in acute short term memory loss. In addition he was a diabetic, and I administered his insulin and other medications, as well as scheduling and accompanying him to his various medical appointments. I assisted him with dressing, meals, and the general activities during the day, which are difficult for a senior with memory loss to accomplish on his own. A companion and caregiver to him until his passing in August of 2024.

I was a grip technician) in commercial film production in Toronto until I retired from the business in 2017.
