As a firefighter specialist I am responsible for teaching every aspect of Apparatus Operations and obtaining DPSST certifications for all new recruits and incumbent firefighters. This includes all of our Type 1 Engines, Type 3 Engines, Brush Rigs, Tillered Ladder Trucks with Aerials, Straight Ladder Trucks with Aerials, Tower Ladder Trucks, Water Tenders, Heavy Rescue Rigs, Ambulances and Forklifts.

• Performed life-saving procedures during medical emergencies, administering CPR and first aid as needed.
