I started as a wet utilities inspector. My responsibilities are as followed, making sure all water and sewer pipes are installed according to city and state specifications, also when all wet utilities are in ground. My next responsibility is to test all water and sewer lines by doing pressure test , especially water were I have to do a bacteria test. I have been doing utilities inspections for 4 years. Now I've been in charge of street inspections for a year as well. My responsibility for street infections is taking density tests and proof rolls on sub-grade and flex base. I am knowledgeable on paving and tacking. I am certified with a density gauge and will be soon certified in 1a asphalt.
