Have been serving in student ministries at my church for five years started by running the soundboard in middle school and then also high school. Soon was put in charge for slides and lighting and to find people to run those positions. Started shadowing upstairs at front of house made it onto the team at 18. During my shadowing one of the guys got me connected to the worship leader for celebrate recovery at our church and I started mixing biweekly for them. Realizing mixing worship music was my passion I started practicing at home as much as I could and finding ways I could improve for instance, getting mentored, going to conferences about sound mixing and continuous shadowing with multiple people from different churches. I also plan and run worship for high school and middle school with another student at life point which has helped me improve at planning, scheduling and working with groups of people for one main goal. Even though my current job is kitchen, it has helped me improve my organizational and problem-solving skills that has translated well to sound engineering. I also played football for four years, which has helped me learn how important it is to work hard, never quit and never stop striving to improve. I want more people to learn about and feel the love of Jesus by using the talents God has given to me.
Made it to the sound engineering team at life point at 18
Have gotten nonstop, positive feedback from the other sound guys tech director, and Church members about my mixes.
Was asked to run and plan worship for middle school and high school with another student at life point.
