Accomplishments

I was awarded the California Governor’s Medal of Valor, the Orange County Sheriff's medal of valor, the Carnegie Hero Fund’s award, as well as recognition from the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the City of Dana Point, after an incident in which I climbed out onto the ledge of an over crossing, to save a suicidal woman.

Additional Information

Lead the Border Division of the California Highway Patrol’s Honor Guard (later referred to as the Special Honors Detail) for roughly 10 years, with nearly 20 years of membership on the detail.


I was the Area Range Training Officer for the Capistrano Area of the California Highway Patrol for approximately 10 years.
