Demographically wise, the medium age had dropped to 30 years old

Due to skills and dedication of a licensed contractor in the membership, we were able to utilize his skills to repair and/or replace degraded aspects of Shattuck's physical plant, thereby saving the congregation several thousand dollars in repair and upkeep costs
Invited such outstanding Sunday Morning speakers as a descendant of Hiram Revels, post-Civil War AME preacher and Senator from Mississippi
