In this position, I maintain and troubleshoot the technology in educational rooms, auditoriums and conference rooms.

As well as organizing schedules of student techs and delegating the proper tasks.

• Understanding and implementing audio/video techniques to take a job from start to finish in the field
• Provide troubleshooting techniques in integrating professional AV systems
• Working with and managing co-workers while considering skill sets to complete the job on time
• Perform tasks using proper tools, materials, methods in accordance with best industry practices
• Interact with customers to ensure confidence in installed systems
• Completing jobs in the field - an average of two-to-three work orders each day
• Install CCTV systems and background/foreground music systems
• Installing Crestron Teams/Zoom conference systems in commercial settings
• Low-voltage cabling according to industry practices
• Correctly read and interpret audio-visual diagrams
• Complete and oversee rack fabrication
• Perform service and system maintenance as directed
• Monitor and repair audio, video, control systems and video conferencing equipment
• Well-versed in working on construction sites and working with all trades and having a great understanding of their jobs
